| This place is a shithole!

By anonymous-user on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2017-06-30 to 2017-07-04

We camped here 2 years ago, in the center was a common/overflow parking area. Now the under new management must of been greedy and put 2 sites in. So where I park in front of my camper I cannot get out unless 2 of my neighbors move there truck and van. Also people are riding high powered ATV behind the houses and on the roads at a very high rate of speed. Come on its a hoiliday weekend with many people walking. This place is mismanaged and calling it a hole makes it seem better than what it is...you can go to a much nicer campground then this one for less!!

This is set up for seasonal lessees and they most probably cater to them, our original site was a muddy area that would have you stepping out into mud no matter how you positioned yourself, we requested another site and suggested the site which was fine with them. The water access was inconveniently located, not a problem as we were just staying the one night, except when we were preparing to leave and fill our water we found the water was turned off at the site, we did have water on arrival. At 9:00 AM no one in office to ask about taking on water. Wouldn't stay again if other options available.

Frst of all my reservation was double booked, I called way ahead for a holiday weekend. Upon arrival I had to ask for a map to get to my site. Our site was small,( no room to park your truck at the site) had no fire ring ( they did bring one upon request) and the picnic table was extremely warped. Our water hook up was across the campsite so the entire weekend we had to be careful not to trip over the hose. The seasonal site campers behind us were extremely rude. They let their dogs bark constantly( they were still barking at 10:45 pm). They shoveled their dog fecies in the ditch which smelled because of the humidity. Everyone who camps knows that you don't walk through other campsites, not these people, they walked through our site constantly(we said nothing to them but should have).
