Reviews for Flandreau City Park

| Great park

18 sites with water and electric for $10 nightly. Tent camping or RV with no hook ups $4 nightly. It looks like many of the electric sites ate taken for the season. I had to take a tent site which is unmarked on grass under shade trees. Dump station. Bathroom with shower but very old and not very clean. Police patrolled the campground.

Not bad for $11 a night. Wish they had 50 amp electrical, but for the price I can't complain.

| Quiet little park full of monarch butterflies

We came to this park on a windy day, there were only 2 campers 1 was just parked there, the other looks like someone that lives there. The 1st night we ended up staying at the casino nearby just for safety as there were pretty bad winds and a warning from the local police of potential hail. When we came back next day we stayed in the parking lot as there were some work being done in the sites. The spots now have 50amps. It's very small I won't recommend it for big rigs, there are some spots that may fit for a 40' but on grass only. Overall our stay for 3 nights there was good. The best thing: tons of Monarch butterflies. The bad: no Verizon signal and our T-mobile used all the roaming in few hours with AT&T which seems to have the best coverage there. Weird: they have a dump station which is in an awkward position, (at least for us) we have to turn around as the dump is on the right side of the road going out. If we are ever back in the area we'll probably stop by, 25 min drive to Pipestone Monument.

Big park. Mostly just baseball fields. Along river with good fishing. Lots of 50 amp spots, enough room for BIG rigs. (Previous person said not???) Sani dump across from the new shower/ bathroom rooms. ( Under square plate in the road) One BBQ by 3 sided building next to RV spots. No trails. Square Fire pits at RV spots.
