| great stay
Stayed for a week in October while visiting with relatives in the area. 34foot motorhome with toad. Nice pull through sites. Made reservation well in advance. Nice pull through sites. Campground filled up on Weekend. highly recommend
| My favorite local park
I live just 10 minutes from the park, and it is one of my favorites. $30 for a full hookup site, but so close, i am not soending much on fuel to get there. I love the outside rim pull through sites, more private and a beautiful view of the lake down the hill.
| Older county CG, nothing fancy
This is one of 3 CGs ran by Jackson County and probably the oldest of them. The facilities are clean but they are starting to show their age. We camped there a few summers ago and they experienced a partial power outage that took a few hours to restore. There are also sidewalks in disrepair but still it's not a bad place to camp. This CG is located on Beach Road just north of Colbern Rd... the listing on the app is wrong and the Woods Chapel address is for the parks main office. We have stayed here in tents and a 30' travel trailer.
