Only 4star due to tight rv spaces, but it's okay because of the wonderful creek that runs thru the campground. Otherwise this place is perfect! Offers tent camping, cabins, rv camping with and without full hookup. Clean bathrooms, always stocked. Camp store with huge fireplace. Friendly family owned since the 70's. Love it here!
This is a very great family owned campground. It is well run and staff is very helpful. It has beautiful surroundings and a peaceful creek. It is by far the best campground in the area.
This campground has a steep downhill driveway off a steep downhill road. It is scary going on and out. We were packed in like sardines with no place to park the truck except by the camper door. The creek is very nice and drowns out the highway noise and your neighbors. The staff was pleasant, the restrooms clean and the wifi ok.
Would give 5 stars but the lack of parking and very tight space held me back. Very quiet laid back, nice stream running behind the camper was beautiful! Very friendly staff and the bath house was always clean. Will be back to this one.
We stayed here for one week in our 42 ft fifth wheel. The entrance/exit is a bit scary as it’s a sharp curve and hill off of a busy highway. Go slow and you’ll be fine. We had a pull thru site. The back in sites look pretty small so I would insist on a pull thru if you have a larger rig. Cons-Water pressure was extremely low. Cable tv channels are limited. WiFi was very slow and unreliable. Bathhouse smelled very bad. Busy and lots of traffic on weekends. Pros- great location with lots to do in the area, beautiful stream runs through campground, nice campground store, decent playground for kids, concrete level sites I would stay here again and would recommend.
Just spent the weekend here- overall a good place. Agree with previous comments about the sketchy entry way off the busy highway. Be on the lookout for the large entry sign for Flintlock, otherwise, you will miss the road sign, especially at night. Bathrooms were very clean. Downside was that camp was packed in like sardines and the spaces are in top of each other. Didn t love that we had to walk through our neighbors site to access water and power. Pretty loud up until the 11pm quiet hours . Would consider staying here again but not during the busiest months
Just out of town and entrance comes up quick so slow down going in. Very friendly staff. Sites gravel and level by creek. Many campers are long term but there are rv and tents sites. Full hookup was nice . No discount
