Stayed for two weeks very restful hours drive to Tampa, an hour to Ocala, 30 minutes. To the Villages. I give it a 10 nice people!!!!!!
This is a beautiful RV resort for class A motorhomes only. Each site is huge,concrete, and landscaped. Some are owned and othets available for rent. The only negatives are the location is fairly remote in farmland and the "lakes" are dry.
The people here are very friendly. The clubhouse is very large and there are a lot of activities to do, if you wish to join in. Art classes are available at a cost. The classes tend to be very full and crowded. Also offered, are card games, dancing, yoga, etc.. There is no free Wi-Fi available at the lots. However, free Wi-Fi is available at the clubhouse only. There is NO Cable TV at the lots. There is a trash dumpster towards the back of the property and you must carry your own trash to the dumpster. If you have pets, beware of fire ants and unlevel yard areas. Also beware of dogs that bite and allowed to return to the resort every year. My dog can t even use the dog park because the dog that bites is usually there when I want to take my dog!
Pool has been out of service for 1 month. Hot tub the same. Fire ants and weeds throughout the grounds. The golf carts drive up on the so called grass. The retention ponds are not maintained. For the price you pay why don't the rental spots have table and chairs? Activities limited with shopping and restaurants a distance away. Noted complaints among the owners and renters about inconsistent rules regarding yard decor and pet pens. Seems a few run the place.
