| Terrible customer service

By user-5853163... on 2017-10-23.

We called to find availability of sites during our trip to Denver. She told us the were full for the next couple of weeks or more and knew of no other camping options in the area. She was very unfriendly and had no interest in helping. Based on the call I wouldn't want anything to do with this park.

I called this place to store our RV. I actually called twice to ask questions, and give her my name. The woman who answered the phone both times (you could tell it was the same woman - abrupt, impatient) said I couldn't arrange it over the phone, that we had to bring it over to sign the contract and they could "look at it." I asked why, and she said because they needed to make sure there was no damage. That made sense to me - and she and I actually talked about how people can claim damage once in the storage area and it would go against their insurance. I also explained our situation -- my BF bought the rig for me, he can't bring it across country til December, could I ship packages from Amazon there to the office for him(surge protector, etc. - which she said sure). So no worries, right? Well, my BF picks up the RV from the buyer and drives it over and the woman acts like he has 3 heads. Claims she never talked to me. They can't store that unit in their weedy FIELD because it's older than 10 years old. Completely unbelieveable. Our rig by the way is NOT a junker. It's a small 21 foot Class C on a truck chassis that has been well kept up. No a/c hanging out a window, the paint is still shiny, etc. Only a few faded decals. She then goes on to tell us that rigs have to be younger than 15 years old to camp in the park (obviously a tall tale if you could see their campground and what is there - trust me our rig was nicer than their trailer office). She could have told me this over the phone. To cover herself she pretended to be helpful, calling another storage place for us to be told "oh we have the same rule." I spent the next three hours calling every place in Denver - and that place she called? Was the only place that has it - everyone else laughed. Happily finally found another convenient place - U-Haul. On pavement, cheaper and so much nicer. Just avoid - sleeping in a parking lot overnight would be better than supplicating to the staff's mood.
