It's a little hard to get to worth a big rig and not very big rig friendly altho they are in the process of making some overnight spots near the entrance. The roads are nicely traveled, but some areas are very steep and narrow. Other than that seems to be a nice campground. I don't remember a playground, but we do not have children.
This park is way back in the hills of central,very rural NY. The park has a lot of long term campers,some rough looking units,but most were nice,and there are some wonderful campsites around the pond.We run all solar,and opted for the big sunny field,at the top of a really rough road. The camp store had a pretty good selection,with very reasonable prices. $1.85 for5# ice,wow. What makes this camp is the wonderful owners,and other regular campers.We were made to feel welcome by all.If you like no frills,and friendly,this is the place.
