Nice over all facilities. Very large with lots to do. It sounds like without the help of a few seasonal campers activities wouldn't happen. Cudo's to them! It makes a difference to the campers with children. Large bar, pool hall & entertainment area. Camp sites very well maintained. Try free wi fi also for all campers!

| Variable Experience

Odd, variable experience. When making reservation, the campground demanded full payment in advance but offered "cancellation insurance" for a charge. We declined. They charged a higher rate than website suggested and stated that their site also stated they could change rates without notice. However, as we were driving there, we had a pleasant phone call from the office saying a nicer site had opened and we would be welcome to it. Of course we accepted. On arrival, an employee led us to our site. Many sites were seasonal with folks in for a week or weekend. This seems common in the northeast. The "resort" in the title must refer to the golf course next door as there were not amenities common at resorts. Neither of the pools had water. Roads were steep and rutted. Our site was large with trees and bushes around. Water and electric were good. Sewer hookup was high with no good way to hold our hose in. The two public bath houses were each a long or longer way from our site. In one, only one of three showers worked. The shower curtains were carefully cut short allowing water out at the bottom and in some showers out the sides as well. Dressing and undressing were public. The only dumpster was driving distance from most sites, up the first steep hill, near the entry gate.
