Surprised at the reviews... The photos don't show the gravel pit you camp in... No space between your neighbor... No grass no trees... Learned so much on our travels about how deceiving this campgrounds are... Would never stay here!!!
Forgot to mention. Some road noise from I-40. Cable tv sucks. It's all analog so some channels are snowy. Great if you have an old tv. Don't know about antenna tv as my antenna is digital only.
Level gravel sites with good hook ups. Clean indoor pool and exercise room. Friendly staff and nice playground and duck pond. Would stay here again. Good Sam and military discounts, weekly rates too.
Clean, quite, great indoor swimming pool, good wifi. Not so good cable TV but the on air TV reception made up for it. Love the fence between each space. Stayed two nights to see Amerillo.
We were returning home through Amarillo and had stayed at another campground before that was full. Managed to get the last site at Fort Amarillo. What a great place! They are doing upgrades and some renovation but thus place is great! Sites are separated by fence and landscaping with some trees. Great fenced dog run, tennis court, indoor swimming pool and clean restrooms and laundry. Easy access off business I-40 west of town and close to the Cadillac Ranch if interested. Also a nice covered entrance big enough for 2 huge rigs to pull in at the same time and a nice gift shop. Free shuttle to Big Texan Steakhouse and fun tourist trap ...we will definitely stay here again!
Stayed 2 nights in a pull thru. Sites are level with a concrete pad for the patio. Fence in between. Didn't check bathrooms. Has a huge gift shop with no store for food or rv stuff. That made no sense at all. Close to shopping and resturants. Nice grassy dog run that is quite a bit larger than most. Staff friendly. Okay for $38.

Great WiFi, indoor pool/spa, and a nice playground for our little one! Super nice people one of our tires was a little low and they brought over an air compressor to fill us up! Right off the highway but you can't tell!
I have used this park several times traveling west. Very friendly staff, clean park with nice pet area . Each site has a concrete pad with picnic table and a wooden fence between sites. Park has easy on off access to I-40 in both directions. Also easy access to shopping and restaurants. Will always use this park when traveling through. I was in a motorhome.

Nice park with good sites and big rig friendly. Facilities need some work and upkeep but you can tell they are working to be better. Very nice stay! Will stay again!
Spent 4 nights here at the last minute while waiting for RV repairs. Host/ owner was very accommodating (ran to Walmart to get us a sewer hose extension, took our mail to the post office). On site boutique is adorable ❤️ Can see how some spots would be less than desirable, we got very lucky and got a great spot by the duck pond. Would definitely stay here again!
All gravel, few trees, spots very close together, buildings old, no dressing area in showers (you step out into the main bathroom ), mostly long-term or permanent trailers, road noise. But... Nice pond with ducks, nice pet area, playground, friendly staff.

We got in late but our check in papers were waiting for us at the office. Easy to follow the map, wide pull-thrus, good hook-ups. We stayed in our 5th wheel.
Nicely laid out and well maintained park. Large grassy dog park. Friendly, helpful staff. Large gift/home decor shop at front of park. Lots of pull throughs for any size rig. On the outskirts of Amarillo with lots of trees and landscaping. Would definitely stay again.

Called last minute to book a spot for the night. Very accommodating. Got hot showers and washed our clothes. Have a below ground shelter for everyone if sever stormes are predicated.
Would definitely stay here again. Got one of 3 spaces left online. Recent hard rains made potholes in roads. Loved the separating fences and cooling shady trees. 39.50 with discounts. Far away enough from I 40 it's very quiet.
Tight roads, narrow spaces and pot holes all over. Dirt roads. No concrete or asphalt pads. Front desk people are friendly and accommodating. Nice quiet property.
