This is a nice state park with a good campground. The bathhouse was good. No shade for most spots. Lots of on site activities. Lots of history. Friendly rangers.
Big spacious camping sites on the Misssouri River! Lots of great walking and biking trails to explore plus a great lesson in history at Fort Lincoln! Close to Bismark and Mandan if you want to do a little shopping. Great place to stay!
Great place to stay right on the Missouri River. Super clean facilities. Pull thru sites are in an arc rather than straight and the power is near one end and water at the other. I needed 50 feet of water hose and 35 feet electric cable. There is a $5.00 extra entrance fee for the state park. If you are interested in western history, it's worth the visit. Very quiet at night!!
Beautiful view, lots of room, quiet, and great coffee available to purchase.
If you want walk where General Custer and the 7th Calvary did. Or where Lewis and Clark met the Mandan, then this is the place to come. Reservation only. Yes, it is that popular.
Extraordinary view into their way of life.
Friendly staff. You must pay the extra park fee to enter, so is a bit expensive. Level sites, hiking trails and great history museum about the Mandan trIbe. Good views of the Missouri River.
We absolutely loved this place. The staff was incredibly friendly. Other campers were as well. Some of the sites are right on the river. It s peaceful and beautiful and yet very close to the city. Would definitely recommend.
