If your idea of camping is the ability to reach out and touch RVs, then you will love this place. They also charge a extra fee called a resort fee and it is required ($3. A day)

Old park, mostly 30 amp, Verizon worked ok, agree with other reviews for most part
Fortunately we were in under TT elite discount which is half off, otherwise would not stay here, nothing nearby

First there is the resort fee $3.33/per day. This is no resort, anyone can call themselves a resort. The pool was a sea of the full time resident seniors on pool noodles all day every day.
You saw the WiFi symbol. and they have WiFi for $7/day
Site is out of T-Mobile and AT&T range for your own hot spot.
If you need to be on Pine Island, book for one or two days max to see for yourself.
it's hard to get refunds back from them I had to go to KOA and one month and still outstanding.
I booked it because it was a KOA, but they shouldn't be a KOA.

If you don't mind driving an hour or two to do anything, then this campground is for you! They packed us in like sardines. It may be because it is a KOA/ENCORE park. Staff was very nice. It is a huge place. Very little grass for our dogs. Dog park had one small palm tree for shade.

This is the quietest KOA I have ever stayed at! Most KOA's are on the side of an interstate, being on an island, off a dead end road, very little road noise at night. Yeah, it's a couple of miles from anything, so if your in a motorhome without a toad, it would be inconvenient, but all of the major stores and reataurants are off island, about 10 miles away, though there is local restaurants about 4-5 miles away that are not bad.

This was a great KOA. The park was roomy, the staff was great, the showers, pool and hot tub were very clean. The lots are level concrete slabs. The pool was also warm enough to swim when the temp was in the low 60s. Cable worked fine however I used my own internet. Others said it was the same as any other RV park with heavy use. We liked the area which was quiet . There were also good places to eat in the area as well as attractions such as Fort Meyer's Beach and the Edison & Ford Winter Estates near within 30 minutes. We are planning on returning for a few days in 2020.

It s what I would define as 100% average. There s nothing terrible about it, but there are bugs as is usual for Florida. The sites varied greatly on terms of space & being level. Some are on cement pads & spacious & others are just on grass & very tight. There are several old permanent sites, quite a few long term residents & usually around a dozen check in s & outs per day. You re roughly 40 minutes from Cape Coral as it s bumper to bumper traffic the entire way.

Quiet... too quiet?

Very quiet KOA, at night there is no interstate noise, no train, and it's very peaceful. This is located on Pine Island- I know it says "Fort Myers", but be forewarned, you are going to be an hour drive from Fort Myers. It's one way in/ one way out of this quiet little community, on a 2 lane road, right through the tourist trap of Matlacha. Quite a few full time residents with really old trailers adds to traffic in the park, lots of people with dogs; everyone is friendly, lots of midwesterners. Pool is too busy to really use. Staff is friendly and will greet you immediately and guide you around the park. Be advised: There is nothing to do on the island, unless you want to ride your bike around or get bitten by no see ums and mosquitos at the nature preserves all day.

Quiet and away from everything. If you want to detach, relax and unwind, this is the best place. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I love places where people love to work. Unhappy, rude staff is always a no go for me. We rent a boat from the marina on the island and head to Cayo Costa and come back and head to Matlacha for dinner. We will definitely be back.
