Amazing stay, mountain views breath taking. Our 28 ft felt small around the larger units, 80% pull thru sites, with full service, clean bathroom and showers, on site store with friendly, helpful staff. Pool, abundant wild life around grounds, also pet friendly.
This rv Park complements the nearby Fort Steele historical site, which can easily take a full day to visit during peak (July - August) season. It uses a standard parking lot layout which is efficient but not too attractive.
Grassy wide long sites each with a picnic table. Mostly pull throughs. Stunning views of the mountains. Yes, you can hear road noise but it was livable. They have a well stocked store, including hand scooped ice cream and the Esso gas station too. Would definitely stay here again. Fort Steele Days and the Heritage Park were lots of fun.
We read the reviews and not sure who wrote them because this was less than a great place to stay. The name should be Esso RV Park. They do not enforce the quiet time at night or the burn van that was in place. The highway and train noise was terrible. The advertised WIFI was not working. We visited the other Forte Steele park the next night and it was great
We just returned from a 50 day RV trip (3400 miles) where we stayed in 16 different RV parks. (anywhere from 1 night to 6 nights). We are rating them in relation to each other. This park was nice with large grassy areas. They have a store and gift shop. Not much to do in Fort Steele.
