Not for the fancy crowd. The hot springs were hot and the pools were huge. They ate lined with natural minerals from the springs. Not a concrete chlorinated experience. The natural minerals can firm a spongy, springy, slimyy texture. The RV sites were level, the owners on hand and friendly. The view is amazing .
We were leery due to review "Dirty" but we decided to check it out. New owners have some work to do but it has potential. We liked the natural mineral pools, these are not your normal chlorinated swimming pools. Staff was friendly and owner explained it's a work in progress. Showers were okay, but bring your quarters. We returned again on the 29th and enjoyed another relaxing day. Will be interesting to see what the owners do in the next year. This could be a diamond in the rough.
Been on road 31 days, stayed at lots of RV parks, this not the best, maybe the worst. Small spaces, no sewer, dirtiest restroom we've seen. Pay $ dirty showers, and only 2 out of 4 worked, park was full. Very pricey for what you get. Need a overnight? Keep driving.
We went to the campground and there cigarette butts and chicken bones in the grill. We had to clean the site. The staff was friendly and so were the other campers. There are only two working dryers and three washers . The mineral pools were warm but unsure if they were clean. We were not familiar with mineral pools. There is a train that goes behind the site at odd hours.
This park needs some TLC. Current owners took over a few months ago after years of neglect. Still, we had a nice stay with few complaints. Site was reasonably level. Thoroughfares hard pack gravel. No camp store to speak of - would have loved a tee shirt. The main grace is the pool, a natural hot spring. There are three divided pools. Nice, hot, and don't think about it. We very much enjoyed it. I would stay again.
Stayed one night. Full hook ups but you pay a premium for them. The space was very close to your neighbors. There were weeds growing everywhere. The natural spring was great. This place could be so much more!
After reading the reviews we weren't sure but stayed anyway. Yes it needs some work but it has great potential. Only drawback is the train but that can't be helped at least there is no crossing so the noise is limited. Stayed with a 5th wheel.
