I love this place during the "off season" (i e early April. Weather was good and the park was not crowded. Some facilities (snack bar, hair salon, etc.) are closed, but that didn't bother us. However, looking at the number of mobile homes and RV spaces I imagine this could be pretty crowded during "peak season". The staff I dealt with (Rita) was great to work with and everyone was very friendly. I would caution you though that there are no decent shopping choices nearby so you should come prepared. There are small towns within a few miles, but their choices for food and supplies are very limited. Bottom line: I would absolutely come back here again.
Lots of amenities. Two laundromats, full gym, billiard room with 8 tables, horseshoe pits, dog park, entertainment weekly, hiking and biking trails, 4 mineral water hot tubs, 2 swimming pools, desert golf, tennis courts, dry camping or full hookups. Permanent residences available, mail room, store, restaurant, beauty parlor-barbershop, farmers market twice a week. Hobby shops, sewing room.
Sort of like summer camp for adults. And the spa is lovely. But with over 1000 RV sites it is just not my cup of tea.
