We were somewhat disappointed with this park. We were put in a pull thru with no shade that was real unlevel. Water pressure was real weak and the electric hook up looked as if had issues before. Ok for an overnight. Other sites looked real nice but not for large rigs.
Ok but not great! This is a older campground that could use a little TLC. The employees were great and very helpful. Bathrooms were clean but very old so it was hard to tell. They could use a update.
Water and electric worked well, no issues. Many of the sites with electric and water offer no shade whatsoever. Park has several scenic areas and the camp store is well stocked. The beach is larger than expected and there is a nice park for kids. The weekends are very crowded and have a louder party atmosphere. Lots of groups that know each other coming for weekend party time. Groups were large enough to be spilling over into your space. Most people were respectful and friendly though. The staff overcharged us by a few dollars and refused to refund the money saying "once the money is in the register there's nothing they can do about it" which was a disappointing attitude to take toward paying customers. The bathrooms were by far the worst part of the campground. They are run down and dirty and frankly just scary. We have our own bathroom, but if I had to use the campground bathrooms, I would definitely camp elsewhere.
