A more open, uncrowded, uncluttered campsite. No gimmicks. Like the modern free showers, heated bathroom, hot water in bath roons. Lots of hiking.

We stayed at French Creek in Loop C, site 1. The site was very close to level but we used a little bit of lift on one side. Plenty of space for our 30' TT and our truck. We had our two beagles with us. In site 1 the fire ring is behind the camper so we never extended the awning. The location of the fire ring proved to be excellent though. From the campfire we had a view of a campsite in Loop B but no one else. There is no firewood in the park but there is a home that sells firewood just outside the park entrance. Had we been in the front, we would have been looking at several other sites. We were amazed at how respectful people were of quiet time. We heard lots of kids but at 10:00 it became very quiet. We walked around our loop and decided we had the best spot in the loop. the other sites were either close together or looked very small. We took a hike around the lake one day which was easy. The trail was mostly level and open. There are many trails from which to choose. The lake is fairly large and many people were enjoying kayaks and canoes. We did not use the bathrooms or showers but the structure looked clean and modern. We will go back as the park is pretty close to home. But we will only stay in Loop C Site 1!

We rented a cottage on Labor Day weekend. We have made plans already to come back! This park is beautiful! If you love to hike or mountain bike, this place is for you. Lots of people here but at quiet time it is very quiet. Park Rangers are very nice and helpful. Pool is beautiful and the lakes are beautiful

I was in Loop C. My first time camping in my van. They have electric and water and full hook ups and a Dump station. I did not have a campsite with those amenities. I was there on a Wednesday and Thursday before Memorial Day. The section I was in allowed dogs and the dogs were well behaved and quiet as were the people. I only saw 2 tent campers. The site I was in looked like it might ve had a lot of water from recent rains. Much of the site had sticks and leaves build up where you could see the water had flowed.
