Not 69to 100 its 100 + and no discounts I'll take my money somewhere else Very unfriendly on the phone also

| very close to N.O.

By user-6255323... on 2017-10-23.

Rate was 96$(89 w g.s. discount). Very clean, very safe walled and gated park. Two small, unfenced doggie areas. Helpful staff. Ice machine..Didn't go for a swim but pool and club house were nice. Clean BR with hot showers. Looks like there are a couple larger sites with gazebos. most of the park is paved with brickwork but there are grassy area's too. neighborhood surrounding doesn't look the safest- but there is a police station close by. LOts of homeless folks in N.O. We walked into N.o. the first day/night & took the scooter the second. This place is pretty pricey but in what you would pay for cabs, it is worth it if you walk.

| Good location

Great location. Less then a 10 min walk to Bourbon st. Security was great. Staff were helpfull with directions and facilities/hookups were all working and clean. Definitely would stay again.

| Super Great

This was an awesome place to stay. Super clean, convenient location and very secure. Security: key pad for the RV gate and walkers gate., high walls with barbed wire, and good lighting. Very nice small pool and hot tub. It is about 7 blocks to Bourbon Street and another 4 to Jackson Square. Daytime walking is fine. The spots are all back in, but another brick space for your car. All spots have brick pavers and a grass area.

| Pricey but Great

Always stay here when we come to NOLA. It's the most secure RV facility you'll every be in. Paved roads and all sites are huge back ins done with brick pavers and an extra spot for toads or trucks when detached. You are literally 2 1/2 blocks from the French Qtr. We walk to everything or use the street cars as parking is $$ and spots very hard to find due to so many visitors and workers. The parks facilities are extremely clean and they even provide all the free ice you'll ever need for your stay there. If coming by RV, it's the very best place to stay. Daytime walking to and fro from the Qtr is safe. Night time is a different animal. For safety, you really have to take a cab or Uber. The automatic gates let cars in. Once dark, there is staff security person there till am light. For being in the Qtr, you won't find lodging any cheaper. It's the best.

We have stayed at French Quarter RV Resort twice now. Once in August 2013 and again March 2017. This park is clean, safe and secure. Best rv resort if you plan to enjoy the city. Only a few short blocks to Royal or Bourbon St. Staff are helpful and friendly. Nice pool and hot tub. Can't wait to return

| Great Place!

Walking distance to French Quarter and Superdome. Staff is wonderful. My family prefered a taxi to and from during night hours (neighborhood looks roughly but had no problems).

| The Place to Stay in an RV

FQ RV Resort is a premium RV Resort. Yes it is expensive as far a a "campground" price, but the location and amenities are first rate. The sites are large with full concrete pads and manicured grass in between. Three blocks from the resort you come to the edge of the French Quarter. The pool, jacuzzi and exercise room are centrally located as are the showers and laundry. Free Ice maker too. Would recommend taking a cab if walking in the evening. Not on the best edge of town. The Resort is walled in and secure by combination code for walkers and surveillance camera to drive in. Excellent location, would stay here Always in New Orleans.

Use to be nice & still is. You cannot reserve a certain spot & now no wifi. They say you can walk to the Quarter but I wouldn't unless you are in a crowd. We stay here often. Uber can get you where you need to go fairly reasonable & a lot safer than walking.

| The Big Easy

By user-5818568... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2016-04-12 to 2016-04-16

Pricey but very convenient. Surprisingly EASY access for a 40 ft. rig towing a jeep. The I-10 off ramp and the surface streets into this park are very big rig friendly. There is a 2-3 block walk through some not ideal, unpopulated blocks awaiting redevelopment. The main visitor center is a short 2 block walk to the French Quarter proper.

| Just perfect!

By user-5903765... on 2017-10-23.

Very nice park, large paved sites and a little well maintained grass at each site. Truly just two blocks from The French Quarter. We waked to everything easily. Solid wall and coded gates and 24 hour security made us feel safe. Urban camping at it's best. Yes, it's expensive compared to most campgrounds, but a lot cheaper than a hotel and Hey! It's New Orleans!

Very expensive but right where you want to be. With the exception of WiFi this is a great park. The only downside is the road noise which is beyond their control. I agree with the other reviews and add that it satellite friendly and good over the air TV. We stayed in a 34' motorhome and would stay again.

Excellent place to see French Quarter's .We used our bicycles everywhere we went. Self tour for all attractions. Very safe feeling even at night. Police station a block away. Easy place in and out

| Mostly Big Rigs

By user-5615313... on 2017-10-23.

Our trailer is small with no bathroom. Our site was not only the furthest away but no wifi out there either. We were right under I10. Sirens all day and night. French Quarter is right there. Had a GREAT time. The baths, pool, grounds are immaculate and staff was very friendly and very busy. It is gated and feels very safe.

| Bait and Switch pricing

Couldn't get them on the phone as we tried after hours on the way on Saturday evening for a one night stay, but upon arrival the gate was open and the night guard said there was room and advised us with our good Sam and platinum AAA RV the rate would be around 69.00 to 89.00 depending on the discount.. Upon checkout this morning, I was handed a bill for 143.69. As this was clearly nowhere near the quoted rate, in fact, DOUBLE what I was quoted last night by their representative, I was obviously taken back and clearly advised them of the quote I was provided. I was advised the manager is not available on the weekends and I would have to call tomorrow to see if they can adjust the rate, but as for now.. It's DOUBLE WHAT I WAS QUOTED upon my acceptance of the agreed rate. Be aware..

| Well worth the price

By user-4893436... on 2017-10-23.

Very convenient to New Orleans attractions whether for partying or family fun. Great security, clean and friendly. Pool and bathrooms are wonderful.

| Good value but not cheap.

By user-5291720... on 2017-10-23.

Clean and friendly staff ...A+ We have stayed 4 times over a 7 year period. 2 to 7 day lengths. The price was $82 to 128 /night. The location is ideal for the French Quarter. A+ The noise from I-10 is loud depending site. B+ This is New Orleans. The security inside the walls is good but act like an adult. A+

| Loved it!

By user-5245164... on 2018-03-14. Stayed 2017-11-20 to 2017-11-23

We stayed 3 nights. We have a 40 ft motor home with car and dolly. The site was a good size and we had enough space. Loved walking all over the French Quarter including at night. Loved the hot tub in the evening and the great complimentary coffee in the morning. Expensive, but worth not having to drive and park in New Orleans.

Beautiful park, very well maintained and great staff. We walked to the French Quarter and took Uber once. A police station is along the Route, felt safe. We took a tour bus and they picked us up at the front gate. Sites were brick and plenty of room. Pool facilities and laundry was clean and tidy. Yes, it s in the city and you get the typical city noise and lights. Didn t seem to be a problem to us. We would stay again, convenient for what we were doing.

| Close to French Quarter

By user-6576177... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2018-12-22 to 2018-12-26

They couldn't be kinder. Garbage pick up at your RV and the amenities were all in great shape. We walked most of the time to the French Quarter and Bourbon St. They do have a thin layer of razor wire on top of their stone wall barrier but the entrance gate was wide open during the entire stay. FYI there is a homeless camp under the highway bridge next to the patk but that was a non-issue. It is incredibly loud with sirens and loud vehicles passing above you all night long. I do advise you only walk where it is busy as we did avoid being jumped by three guys at the gas station near by. Street smarts on our part was the only reason we were not robbed . I only gave this 3 stars as they required us to take an extra day at the beginning of our stay to ok our entire stay which was $150 for that night. So when I got a call my father went in to the hospital and we needed to leave 2 days early they said no to crediting us back anything and they were completely booked the day we left before checkout. I suppose they may get to double down on our empty slot. Loved the people working there and the place, but will not be going back.

| Close to French Quarter, closer Interstate noise

By user-6263071... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-01-18 to 2019-01-22

Close to French Quarter, Canal St, etc. Back lots 17 - 13 are beside I10, extreme road noise, emergency sirens, etc. Park is clean, well maintained, Internet non functional to back lots, needs signal booster. Nice Park to stay at couple days for walking distance to local attractions and not having to use / pay parking fees.

For us the perfect way to visit new Orleans. Most things can be done by foot and after a day in the city one can relax in the pool

| FQRV Not a Resort

By user-4895465... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2017-01-01 to 2017-01-01

The Takeaway: Location, location, however at the expense of proximity to crime and homeless just outside the walls of this rv park. Not in any sense a resort, this postage stamp sized park provides 52 sites with questionably clean showers and bathrooms and a thimble sized pool. The steep pricing strategy is a deterrent implemented to enhance the bottom line while not offering amenities like broadband WiFi, an adult sized pool, a clubhouse with a café, etc. We opt for booking at a real class A rv resort 30 minutes North of New Orleans. We stayed in 2017.
