This place is great, but we wanted an inexpensive place to sleep the night. They were very friendly and accommodating. We only used their bathrooms (which were clean) before we were on our way again. I would stay here again.

| Our 1st overnight in our new travel trailer

We were quite nervous about our first camping trip with our new travel trailer. The owners were definitely friendly, thoughtful, and helpful! They made our experience a pleasant one. We only needed a 30 amp electrical hookup so no problem. FYI: They said they'll get wired for a 50 amp as soon as they can, if that is an issue for anyone. They are fixing things up and improving the park, so we look forward to staying there again in the future.

| Easy in and out

Small park but big enough for 42' diesel pusher with 3 slide outs and a tow car and didnt have to un hook. 30 amp only but no problem as it cools down to 50's at night and we're here in summer. We'll definitely return.

| It's peaceful

This place is not fancy but it is peaceful. The people really are friendly but we noticed a "For Sale" sign out front. The park is pretty small but there are nice long pull throughs with full 30 Amp hookups. We appreciated that our motorhome and the towed car would fit into the pullthrough site without unhooking the car. Partially paved and partially gravel. We have stayed here in the past and it is a nice environment with trees and Mt Shasta fully visible in the background. The only drawback is that there is a big Pilot truck stop about 100 yards away with truck noise not too bad, but it's there 24 hours. The noise didn't bother us. Within walking distance are restaurants, fast food and the travel center. This is not a bad stop for a short stay and there are many local things to see within driving distance. Free internet is a strong signal and the connection is as fast as at home! We would recommend it.

| Very nice park for smaller RV's

Clean, quiet, easy access to and from the highway. We have a 19.5' travel trailer, but I can see very large rigs having a little trouble getting into many of the sites. Will definitely stay again.

| Great Location, FRIENDLY!!

True to it’s name, this is a cute park at the toe of Mount Shasta with a forestry setting. You will know you are close to the interstate, as Weed offers free parking to truckers, and they park down the block where they rumble all night. But we really liked this park. Beware of the margarita prices at the nearby Mexican Restaurant-ASK as you see the guy approach with the red plastic cart.

Great overnight stop and we will definitely stop again. Loved the views and all the trees and the welcoming staff.. Our dog loved the walking spaces. Yes, there is a little noise from the truck stop but the park is so pleasureable it distracts you from that.

This is a very good RV park, clean and well run. I think all sites have full hookups. The WiFi at my site had a strong signal and good throughput.
