Good location to visit Albany and Saratoga. The drive to the campground is up, up, up secondary roads followed by a hairpin left turn (coming from the West) up a paved camp road. Not much shade on the lower level sites. Sites level side-to-side but not front-to-back. Electricity had open ground but maintenance repaired it quickly. Nice small lake but swimming closed.
During the approach from the east, there's a small tunnel with a sign saying: Clearance 10' 0". Although it looked higher, we didn't take the chance and went 8 miles around to the western route. In retrospect, they likely meant the width of the tunnel, but it should have been better labeled. Otherwise ok campground. Stayed for one night. Mostly long term tenants.
