| Lovely campground
This is a huge area with great campsites for both tents and rvs. We had 38 foot allegro with 4 slides and had plenty of room. I'd give this place a 5 but boats to rent are not maintained. Many sitting with water inside and moldy. Canoes broken and abused but we're of good quality as are Old Towne so sad. Other real issue was ANTS. Not fire ants but tiny ones that crawl into your slides and lifts and are now all over rv. They don't go for food. But we're under throw rugs and in various other places 'en route'. So take ant killer and spray tires and hoses to keep them out!
| Beautiful Campground
This was our second stay at Pointes West and we have enjoyed both stays. It has several different areas so does nor seem large and crowded. The back-in sites are spacious with full hook-ups, a fire pit, a grill and a picnic table at every site. Each site is also located with a peaceful lake view . There are plenty of trees and the park is kept clean and neat. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. The guardhouse was unmanned so we could come and go at will. Definitely returning.
