Traveling in a 5th wheel we stayed a week during the July 4th holiday. Very well kept with beautiful view of Dickinson Bayou and many long-time residents. Very quiet and friendly, great place for kids. Lost points for patchy internet, meeting room that was not kept clean and clothes dryers that take multiple cycles to dry clothes completely. Enjoyed our stay overall and will be back.
Stayed 4 nights. Taking grandsons on spring break. Park is tucked away and not on major street but, that was part of charm. Very well maintained and office staff were super! We were on the pond. Lots of ducks and turtles. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was price. Higher than was on app.
We enjoyed our one week stay here in our 34 Ft motorhome. Back in spot on the pond. Cheaper then staying on the bay. Make reservations as they fill up quickly. Beautiful view and quiet park. Majority are full timers but sites are neat and clean. Nice laundry room. Did not use bathrooms. Fish off your site on the pond or take a walk to the bay and the private pier. Only downside is the amount of birds (Grackle's) an extremely noisy bird that lives in the palm trees. They chatter from morning to night. Had to shut doors and windows at times to enjoy quiet. Seems they could do a little bird control as they leave droppings on motorhome and car. Also be aware as you navigate the streets coming in as the trees are not manicured! Final road going into park is full of pot holes and it is a rocky ride u till you get into the park.
