Gatlinburg East / Smoky Mountain KOA

Great RV park and you can't beat the price as they accept Passport America. We recently stayed 3 nights and had a fantastic time. Took only one trip to Pigeon Forge to eat out but both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are very convenient. The sites were spacious, the bath house was exceptionally clean, the pool was great, and the store was well stocked with RV needs as well as gifts and provisions. We don't live far away but this is easily our new favorite spot to stay when we visit Pigeon Forge. Nothing more to say except this was a wonderful place to stay.

Stayed here with a group of 20 RVs for an extended weekend. Owner was great with letting us use inside and outside pavilion areas. He even arranged for entertainment to be there one night that he knew we'd be there. The campground itself was very clean and the bathrooms spotless.

A very nice and relatively new campground. The facilities were top notch and the sites spacious. The shower/bathroom facilities were very clean and private. The pool was great and very relaxing. We stopped for two nights to rest up and relax a bit on our way home from South Carolina, but are thinking of coming back as a Gatlinburg destination trip. You will like this campground.

We can’t say enough about this place! Friendly staff. Clean and quiet. Nice spacious sites. Walking distance to the park and hiking trails. Close enough to the attractions, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, yet far enough away from all the crowds. We will definitely return!

This park is new as a KOA and it is excellent. Management and workers are super friendly and helpful. The sites are well maintained and vary from gravel sites to paved patio sites. The pool and restrooms were spotless. It's about a 10 mile drive down the main tourist area of Gatlinburg, but we saw that as an advantage. We had an awesome 3 night stay.

What an awesome campground! Sites are nice, location is great and staff are wonderful! They meet you at the entrance and guide you to your spot This is a really nice place and I m glad we found it and lucked out with a last minute reservation.
