Good park for a state one.
Quiet in September. Office closes early but they have self registration. Long walk to shower/bathroom. Nice wooded sites.
It doesn't say so, but they have about 8 sites with sewer and water too. Also open all year long which is important to us, as we do a lot of travel around this area in the late fall/ early winter. Beautiful views, lots of deer, nice level pads.
Mostly level sites of various sizes, both wooded or in the sun. Nice beach in the park. No additional fee or pass required for entry into the park
This was a beautiful spot. We were lucky to have a full hook up wooded lot. We will definitely go back.
Nice camp ground if the weather is super dry but when it rains a lot of the sites will flood. Drainage is a problem and they are trying to fix it, but not in a way that will work. Camp office closes at 3 PM so if you arrive after you are on your own. They do not put reservation date papers on the spaces ...so who knows what spots are taken. Understaffed and poorly run.
