It is a really large campground with several sites. Some sites are not very large or level. Most of the sites on the lake are good. There is several things to do and see in the area.

Beautiful area & nice campground location. Wifi signal a little weak but it is a rather large campground. Water pressure good. Very nice staff & clean park. If you have an event at the fairgrounds (as we did for the Big Green Egg Fest) the campground is very convenient. One item of note which I wasn't told, you can't have campfires in section A. You can in all other sections. Section B & C have very nice sites on the water. Although almost all sites in B - F are decent (some smaller than others). Section A sites are a little "hilly" and possibly more difficult to back into. We will return to this campground to stay and attend events. Also make sure you walk the garden area of the fairgrounds at the top of the hill above section A, extremely beautiful.

Lots of sites. Some sites better than others. Probably best camp in area. We enjoy lake activities and biking around camp

| Airstream Club Region 3 Rally event, great location on large lake.

The campgrounds and fairgrounds area is a very nice with lots of trees and some water front sites. We stayed in site A-26 which was nice size good spacing, nice trees with sun and shade, water/sewer/elec in good close location. We backed in a 30 ft airstream and had good clearance to every thing. The picnic table made of cement was not movable but it was in a good location with proper placement of front door when backing in. Wifi was strong was we were right under the antenna. :) The road are nice wideness and A section is more hilly for sure.. A-26 is the top of hill area. When coming in go to second entrance and come up back way which is a bit steeper but better to back in. The campsites are all different sizes but for more part good for every thing up to a 45 ft 5er. Some sites right on lake are super nice with awe inspiring views of area. The Anderson Music Hall host a lot of big name stars which is amazing in this out of the way place. The area is great for walking and biking is you like coasting and hard pumping. There is a boat ramp and fishing pier close by and tennis courts, basketball courts and other activities. Murphy NC is close by and some what larger with lots of art and activities on tap. IF you are looking for nice laid back place to spend a day, a week or month this could be just what you are looking for. Check it out and see for your self.
