Southern Illinois does have hills. Large state park with lake, hiking, interpretive center and plenty of playgrounds for the kids. Lots of room between sites. 20/30/50 amp hookup water available and dump station. Able to get good t.v. reception. Poor WiFi and cell on att and Verizon. Good cell on Sprint. One of the nicest state parks we have been to.

We spent three nights here the end of September. $20 per night, $15 for over 65 Illinois residents. Electric 30 amps, some 50 amp sites, water in the park but not at the campsites. Nice visitor center, hiking trails, rock formations. AT&T phone service, no T-Mobile service at all.
