Stayed one night, cannot complain about anything. Clean, tidy, very welcoming. We had traveled from Grand Canyon on our way to San Diego, Gila Bend is bang smack in the middle. We are from New Zealand and were made to feel right at home. Totally and highly recommend as a stop over point.
Very friendly and accommodating.
Good place for a night stop over. Level sights with good access and good wi fi. Friendly helpful staff at front office
This is our second stop here. Noticeably improved since last time. The spaces are huge (our's was 110 feet long) and well landscaped. The water pressure is much improved. Will likely be our preferred stay when passing through I-8.
Updating to KOA standards and doing a great job. Nice layout, large-level sites and easy access.
Great place to spend a day or two. We wanted to visit Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and this is a good jump point. The sites were really large and most are pull-throughs. They have a great dog area with separate sections for play. The park is still going through their transition to a KOA. There are limited amenities... no pool or bathhouse. Also, the water pressure was pretty low... around 30-35 psi.
Clean, well kept, dog friendly... Huge sites, friendly staff
Stayed in February 2018. Nicely done, maybe too nice for kids. Caters to Seniors. We brought 4 kids, age 5-10. Very limited areas of play for them. Park has put colored gravel to delineate walkways on sites and elsewhere. I would go there as an older couple, but probably would not bring our grandchildren back. They aren’t running wild, but were scolded many times by staff. They did not enjoy themselves, when compared with other KOAs we had them at.
We were quite impressed. Very clean, well run, very spacious sites. Targeted more to seniors, but that is ok for us. Heated pool! This will be a definite stop when out west.
Offers plenty of space between sites. Park looks new. Bathrooms are new clean. I had a late check in and instructions were clear to what I was to do and where to pull in to site. No trees but it s the desert!
Stayed 3 nights enjoyed the stay will come back here when in the area. There are signs that say Watch for snakes & scorpions DID NOT see any. You are parked in the desert. A great stop off to rest, Beautifully and well maintained.
Excellent facility in the desert... don't look for trees. Level sites, well organized full hookups. Sites appear groomed and raked. Very clean bathrooms and shower stalls. Nice pool.
Nice place. Newly updated. Friendly staff. Large lots. Mountain View s. Noisy, trucks and train
Nice park. Huge spaces! Great staff. Just spent the night passing thru not much around to do.
This really is one of the best maintained RV parks around; nice little pool area and club house; very spacious and easy to access sites; great wifi. Why 4 stars? The refuse container is outside of the entrance and it is the only one; a really long haul from most sites. Have a dog? One little leashed area and waaay on the other end, a very nice fenced and grass area.
We spent a night here with our family, and it was a great experience. Very nice pool, spotless bathrooms and laundry facility. Very little highway noise, pretty sunrise. Highly recommend.
Stayed here for a night while driving through. Although our time was limited, we were able to spend a bit of time in the pool. The pool area was super nice and the pool was crystal clear. The owner and his dog were pretty friendly, as well. Nice campground, felt safe, clean, and well kept. We'd definitely stay here again!
