| Drunken Frat Party campground

Tubing down the river is great....the camping not so much. There is a rules sheet for Ginnie Springs but no enforcement of any of them. ATVs and golf carts going up and down the dirt road constantly, and counter of the traffic flow, when they are supposedly prohibited. There are no quiet hours. This is a tent city of college kids getting away from UF for the weekend and they come here to whoop it up and stay up all night after a day of drunken river tubing. We had a 37 RV on a campsite and next door to us was a myriad of tents and no fewer than 20 college kids partying all night long. Calls to the main office, where they said the would send security to quiet them down, resulted in a drive by of security without them stopping to quiet or disband the party. Follow up calls at 11:30pm went unanswered and straight to a voicemail loop. As for the river tubing, that was fun....until a group 10 jet skis kept going up and down the river causing waves that almost dump you overboard. I had fun when I went to college, but that was not what I was booking when I stayed here in a 37 motor coach.

I m rating higher to try to balance what I believe are some unfair ratings. Only stayed one night, yes there was one Bozo driving around on a jaked up ATV blasting music. Forget that loser, place was beautiful, all campsites are close to the water. We re 42 , level dirt site, with 50 amp and water. Close in trees but drive slow no problem, nice Waste water dump with slight lean in to get rid of every drop. Professional friendly staff that service a ton of day trippers from local college. Still they were friendly. Access points in and out of the water with stairs at several spring s. We ll be back thank you.
