Reviews for Glacier Haven RV Park

| Train noise is no joke

By user-5294514... on 2017-10-23.

We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Glacier. Beautiful camp ground. Nice separation between sites. We were able to use our awning and play outside. We have a 40 foot motorhome andwere towing. A little tight but doable. No using fire pit due to Montana's fire ban. Nice bathroom. Host so nice and helpful. The train made this camp ground little difficult to enjoy. During the day it doesn't really matter but it ran every 3 hours, all night, every night! The campsite isn't 50 feet from the train track but no amount of trees or vegetation could buffer that noise! Ugh! If that doesn't bother you, this is the place for you!

We are full time rv's have stayed in quite a view parks, not to many can compare to Glacier Haven. First night the owner checked us in and helped us set up, very helpful. The rest of our stay the host & manager were very helpful and friendly with tips and advice for the area. We have a 40 ft. Motorhome pulling a car dolly with a full size vehicle. Had a beautiful site. Did not mind the trains or the traffic, remember your in the mountains

We stayed here for 2 nights and as far as RV parks go, this one was great! More like a state park in that the sites had a lot of vegetation between them. The price listed on this app were not even close. We paid $60 a night in the off season. We were driving up from Helena and would be getting in after check in time, the owners waited for us and allowed us to check in much later than the regular time. Yes there is road noise because it's directly off of Hwy 2, there is a railroad track behind the camp and the wifi is slow, but it's a beautiful place so get off your phone and enjoy it. It's close to Glacier NP and it's a gorgeous drive to the west entrance. We'd definitely stay here again.

Railroad and traffic noise make sleeping difficult. Sites are narrow could not use awning. WiFi is a joke. Nice restroom.

This place has been updated with new shower and laundry facilities, restaurant on site for dinner only, very clean and organized. There is a train track and highway close by.

| Greatest campground in Glacier area !!

By user-5492860... on 2019-08-09.

First and foremost I wish I could give more stars .. we stayed here for 5 days out of our 32 day RV trip to explore Glacier park and surrounding areas . This is an amazing campground in between the entrances and hotspots of the Glacier areas with great camping lots and the cleanest showers and bathrooms I've ever seen . The wifi worked great for us by Glacier area standards where there is no major cell reception not hi speed internet providers ( u can browse some , send out emails and texts) . As for everyone's main concern .. the Train ... If u study any of the areas history the train is a vital part of the areas heritage and is one of the coolest parts of the campgrounds experience while we stayed there .. We LOVED the train , not a bit of trouble sleeping and if u check around, and we did ..trains go by most every part of the Glacier area in some form or fashion .. yeah they go by bunches but u get used to it and the good of it far outweighs the bad (our kids loved it also (12 and 9).. as far as service goes Steve (camp host) and Randy (owner) are two top notch individuals with one goal .. your stay to be the best , memorable experience ever . They both gave us wonderful info about the Glacier area and places to explore that we will never forget .. we were excited to get back to camp every night to enjoy the campground in itself .. thanks for the memories !!!! Can't wait to stay again !!
