This is a nice state park with some beautiful countryside. There are a number of campgrounds. I believe there are over 500 campsites total. Many of the campsites have shade and a good amount of space in-between sites. Others not so much. Most of the campsites do not have hook-ups. I'm guessing that less than 20% of the sites have an electrical hook-up but no water. A few fresh water points are scattered around and there is fresh water at the one dump station the park has. There are no shower facilities. There are vault toilets in all of the campgrounds. The park is big. The reservoir is beautiful and many boaters enjoy it. There are lots of nice mountain bike trails. Cell phone coverage was spotty for me (T-Mobile). I got a weak signal in lower areas through Union Telephone. It was much better around higher ground. Service seemed better overall from Verizon.
Review not meant for this park but could not find an option to cancel review on my phone. We stayed at a private campground nearby and were very pleased.
