Call before you go there in May. The camp grounds were closed on the 13th. It's 7 miles from Cooperstown, not one.
We stayed here in June 2018 for one night as we were traveling through. We found it to be a very pleasant campground. Our space 21 was large and clean, gravel, Shower building was nice. Grounds were well kept. The beach, trail, and the mansion tour add to the activities available there. Would stay here again.
