| Lovely place to stay

By user-5775290... on 2017-10-23.

This campground is a jewel hidden away in the Vermont countryside. Clean, well manicured, beautiful sites and very friendly staff. Additionally, there is a lovely little stream on the peripheral of the grounds. Easy access. I grabbed my chair, sat in the middle of the stream and read my book. If we didn't live in California, we'd come back here all the time.

| Quiet & spacious

Big campground with quiet well maintained sites. Beautiful grounds and nice pool. Showers and bathroom are clean, well stocked but ancient. We paid $40 for a full hook up. Reasonable. Would stay here again.

| Strange owner ? Good location

By user-6616504... on 2017-10-23.

Stayed there back in 2010. Was about the only private campground in the Stowe VT. area. Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream factory tour was about 4 miles south and city of Stowe about a mile north. Over-all campground was very clean, pool very nice, showerhouse clean, but very dated. The grass was super green. Very well kept. Now the owner was I don't know how to say it but "Gruff". I'm sure he has scared many people away with his unfriendly attitude. If your in the campground business, your in the people business. It's like he is doing you a favor to stay on his land. That is likely why there were only 5 RV's in the campground the middle of Aug. Stopped in last week just to see if a new owner took over. Sorry same one. Quoted me $42 plus $8 extra for my son...for a electric site...I'm sorry but that is just a little high.
