We were looking for an RV park to take our young grandson who had never been camping. This campground was perfect. It's was not far from home, is well maintained, and has lots of activities for the kids. He had a blast. We'll be back here with or without grand kids.
Whether you want to do nothing at all or explore the many things to see and do in the area this is a great destination to use as a home base.
We had a good time. Plenty of things for the kids to do. The mini golf is a little rough, could use a little TLC. The same with the game room. Some of the sites are not too level and the turns can be a little tricky. I have a 30 foot bumper pull with a crew cab long bed and couldn't manage the pull through site, so I just backed out no problem. They are plenty long though. The pool was cool and best of all clean. The place is more on the dry side, but there was fresh gravel to make it better. There is a great little market deli in town and a coffee shop. We went to Black Chasm Caverns on Saturday, it was a very good family experience. We will go again.
This is a nice park, albeit a bit old. The grands loved the newer water park, the pool and the older putt putt golf. We reserved a 50 amp but when we go there, they said whoops - we're out of them. A fellow camper lent us a 30 amp adapter. We'll go back again, with the kids.
Spent the weekend here and already made reservations to come back next month. Spaces are typical, but lots of nice trees, very clean, lots of amenities for kids. My kids, especially my little one, had a blast. We played mini golf, played at the playground, used the splash park, and watched the out door movie they played. Nice place to get away.
