It was very quiet. Nice sites and basketball court. My son loved that. Lighthouse was really neat. No internet which was okay but wish there was swimming there.
Beautiful spot on the lake. Nice tour of restored lighthouse. Clean bathrooms. Nice playground. Sites next to lighthouse are very small, but have a great view. Some roads are quite potholed or riveted. Some sites are very unlevel. Large gravel stone used as ground cover at some sites...good for twisting an ankle. The few fire pits i saw had lots of trash in them, grass needed cut. No cell or wifi coverage at all. Dairy farm across the street provided nasty odors when a breeze picked up. Could be a nice stay if you got a prime lake site, but i bet those sites are booked well in advance. Sadly, I would not go back.
Really wasn't sure what to expect with this place. Found it very quiet and peaceful. Was not a very busy place. Great bathrooms! :) brand new play area. Basketball court had new backboard and rims. The court was a bit rough but no big deal! Stayed at spot 50 and had a spectacular view. I think some of the spots a little further down even had a greater view! The Staff was very nice and a very well maintained park. Not a ton to do so a great place to overlook the lake and read a book! We did take our 32' class C to Niagara Falls. Took about 50 min.
Very friendly attendant upon entering the park. Gave us instructions where we could park are RV and restrooms to use . We stayed long enough to enjoy the lighthouse and butterflies in the gardens. Worth the stop.
