Reviews for Golden Rule RV Park

| Beautiful and quiet

This place is quiet and the lady at the front desk was really nice. On Thanksgiving while walking the dogs a herd of wild turkeys came down the hill and saw a white deer on another day. I will definitely be staying here again in the future

We took our chances on getting a space. Called after hours. This nice rv park is OFF the highway down in a little valley. Clean and quiet. There was only one space left and a tight squeeze but hey, we needed a place to land. We left the next morning so we didn't try out the laundry, pool, or restrooms. The rv area was down the hill from a nice, tidy mobile home park. People were very friendly.

This is the best RV Park we've stayed at in our travels. There were frogs at night croaking, Wild deer were in the campground in the morning when we woke up. The laundry room was spotless. The people were extremely nice. it rained gently while we were there. We saw some wild turkeys and also caught a glimpse as we were leaving of the small group of white deer from Africa that live in the area. The only drawback is that they don't take credit cards, but that wasn't an issue for us. Other campers we've talked to give this a big thumb's up, too. Oh, and the price was reasonable, too.

We stayed here a couple nights and rode the Skunk Train in Willits on our way up to the redwoods. Nice quiet RV park totally separate from the mobile home park at the top of the hill. Saw wild turkeys every morning. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because we blew the 30 amp park breaker and found out it was a fuse....so couldn't reset. Office was closed so no electric for the night. Also wanted to note they only take cash or checks....no credit cards. Would definitely stay here again.....

This is a secluded and beauty nestled in the hills. We pulled in and hooked up easy. Plenty of room for walking the dogs. It is very quiet

Park is nice, tight for a 40' MH and toad but we fit. Only 30 amp so need adapter and we had one. Our Garmin lead us past the entrance an into a rock quarry, lady at the quarry directed through quarry and gave directions to RV Park, she says it happens a lot and she comes out to help the bigger rigs get out without having to unhook toads. Park is cash or check only, no credit card. Nice place for a couple nights visit.

Only got 4 because the pool was not open. Other than that, this is the place for beauty, rest, nature hikes. We saw white deer!

This park is very old. The restrooms are old and aren't cleaned regularly. The lady at the office is very helpful and friendly. The spaces are very small. We saw wildlife ( turkey, mule deer and white deer). May be good for an overnight stay but that's all.

So happy to find this place after checking out the Willits KOA which is in a less than nice looking part of town (and expensive). This was $32 with good sam. Nice and quiet and pastoral.

Pulled into this park cause we had some issues with our 5th wheel. Park was very clean and nice. About a mile off 101 down in a valley. Mobile home park is separate from the RV'S. Some pull thru most back in. No cable, no ota tv. My Verizon signal was nonexistent. All in all this was a nice overnight stop.

We were at this RV Park the end of June for one night. There was a group visiting longer stationed by the pool and it looked like a great place to enjoy a few days for a family get together with a great pool for the kids. Although there were several sites open at one end of the RV Park, they put all the units at the same end which crowded the units in one section of the RV Park. Our site was level with some grass. There were several shade trees for which we were glad to have as the placement of a pole made it impossible to put our awning out. We felt as though we were in close quarters with our neighbors. There is a small creek that runs adjacent to the RV Park which was enjoyed by our dog. As you enter the RV Park, you go through the permanent trailer/modular home residential area which is nicely kept, and then travel down a hill to a separate area used for RV travelers. Restrooms are basic but clean with good water flow. If traveling in this area, we would stay here again but would be more selective about site options at time of reservation.
