Reviews for Goldfield RV Park

| Ok tight ok wifi

By user-6386933... on 2017-10-23.

It's an older small tight park. Could not put out awning too tight. Some sites someone may need to move towcar out of way. We stayed at the park across and up the street. Both are tight and small at least the wifi worked here.

| A pleasant surprise

We were desperate for a place to stay over the Fourth of July holiday and would have taken most anything offered. Seeing the past write ups of this place we were not expecting much. Boy, we were surprised. Okay, the park is old and right next to the highway. Quite a few permanent residents but it is clean and all the utilities worked. The people are friendly and there was space to set up chairs to enjoy the outdoors. Also a very short walk to several good restaurants. We would stay again.

Sites are too close together. Vehicle parking is limited. Very cramped. Close to attractions.

Spaces are cramped - no room to even set out camp chairs. Right next to highway - definitely not a peaceful, relaxing setting.

| Great park but

Its a great park but they won't allow older RVs to stay monthly but people are very nice.

| Good manager

All the parks in Colorado Springs are very cramped and fully booked this time of year. We took a chance and reserved a site here and were not disappointed. The manager who checked us in was so nice, seemed to be really trying hard to run a good park. Yes sites are very close together, and the road noise is terrible, but it is clean, utilities and even the WiFi worked. Also across the street from Old Colorado City with lots of nice shops and restaurants.

The sites are very narrow, very close to each other and are back to back RV's. Extremely cramped. It is Passport America.

This place is just ok. People were not very friendly and not much room between campers.

| Worst ever

This is the worst RV Park we have ever stayed at. We have traveled all over the US and have not stayed anywhere this bad. Spots are extremely small. Not big rig friendly. RVs are jammed together so close you can barely get set up.

| It'll do

About what you'd expect for a high traffic tourist destination . Sardine slot! Slow verizon service. Wi fi usable if not too many people on it. What they describe as a pull thru could be challenging even for the highly skilled Rver. This appears to be the best option for the price.

| Adequate

By user-5502432... on 2019-08-09.

First and foremost the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. This was the best part. Laundry was nice. Bathrooms were adequate. Not the kinda place you want to hang out all day. Big lot of parked RVs. It was fine for two nights while we explored the area.

| Overnight stop

It s okay for an overnight stop. Easy enough to get to off interstate. Gravel sites are level so easy to set up our 5th wheel just pulled in and it was level. Sites are very close but for a one night stop it was adequate. Office staff was very nice when I called for a site and pleasant when we checked in. Close to I24 so there is traffic noise.
