| VERY nice COE

FIVE Stars for entire campground and staff. Beautiful mountain lake Cynthia, one of the host, is extremely professional and helpful. During our 2016 visit she went out of her way to help us adjust our site(s) to more accommodating sites. We live in Florida but do summer three RV trips & Cynthia is one of the reasons we put Goose Point on our 2017 trip.

Nice COE campground, clean bathrooms and well maintained. Be carful if you have an RV over 25'. The sites are really close together and the length of the driveway includes the paved approach pad. The actual site is gravel and you should deduct at least 15' when considering a site. We camped in a 32' MH on a 44' site and the rear of our RV was hanging over a steep hill in order to get somewhat level.

| Great little campground on beautiful Philpott Lake!

We came over here to Goose Point after staying at the group campground over the weekend. We loved the lake so much that we extended our stay so we could enjoy the lake for a few more days . We just pulled up to the guard shack on a Sunday night and we had several sites from which to choose. We have jet skis, so we preferred a waterfront site. We stayed on site 3. There's not a lot of shade on this site, but there's a great view of the lake! And the boat launch is right across the street. The terrain was pretty rocky and steep down the to the lake from this site, so if you have limitations you may want to choose another site such as 5. Over all the campgrounds were very well maintained and clean. The bathrooms and showers exceeded expectations. The lake has all kinds of scenery - waterfalls, cliffs and lots of wildlife. We'll definitely be back again!

| Beautiful campground surrounded by beautiful lake

This is a beautiful COE campground. Loop C is on a peninsula that juts out into Philpott Lake. Pluses: . Well-maintained dock, beach and launch area with parking for boats. . Well kept sites. We stayed in #18, no trouble leveling. . Clean bathrooms and showers . Nice breezes blow off the lake . Loop C appears to be pretty much critter-free and always populated. Minuses: .No sewer connections. Dump station near front gate. Water and power are fine. . About 15 miles into town, so be prepared. Some sites are shorter than others. If you have a big rig, check first for site length before you book. Note that some of the sites on the water are up hill on terraces, so some big rigs will stock out over the end. . Winding 5 mile road into the campground from the entrance. Entrance to Loop C has switchback hairpin turn, but rigs 40 feet and less appeared to be able to negotiate it. . There was some power boat activity going past the site mid week, must be more on the weekends. Quiet at night.

Can t give it the five stars because the way to get to the campground might be difficult to handle for big rigs. Very windy and narrow roads but some may say it s worth it. Bathrooms were clean. Campsites are mostly level with firepit and Picknick table. It s a nice campground with a beach on the beautiful lake.
