Could not take pets on beach!
There was a electicle Problem between my RV and the post un my Site No. 3. The man from Lebanon was VERY!! helpful, solved the Problem, was friendly and "made my day". Thank you!
We love Grand Isle State Park! It's one of our favorite places to camp:). The bathrooms are always clean, park is well maintained, large pull through sites, the beach is within walking distance.... Good fishing:)). ❤️❤️
The campground is very well maintained: very clean bathrooms and showers; laundry room. Large pull - through sites, palm trees, grill, fire pits. When we were there (4 nights) the place was full, and that means multiple vehicles at eat site that people seem to drive in and out and leave idling all the time. The beach is ok. The water is brown with, we were told, high bacteria count so we didn't swim even though people were. On several occasions, ATVs were obnoxiously driving all over the place, including in areas that are supposed to be protected. We did see a lot of birds and some porpoises off the pier.
Great place in off-season but up to $37.50 worth it so clean and maintained
Would campers start adding picture of campground map so fellow campers can see over all view. Thank you!
Why are you rating a place 1 star because other reviewers did not post pics when they visited? How is this fair to a campgrounds rating?? 5 stars from me to offset the previous idiots review.
