We enjoyed the campground, but be warned. It is a popular place in the summer and gets very busy. Sites are a little close together, but not so close that it's horribly unconfortable. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this probably isn't the best campground to choose. Many, many roving groups of kid biker gangs, with little supervision being the norm. Overall, the stay was pleasant and the campground itself is well maintained. Bea h was closed due to algae. The beach was on the small side and covered in goose poop... probably because no one was using it.
This is a really nice park. There are several different types of site I.e. flat, shade, sun, and pull thru. The bathrooms are nice. Never had problems with noise or people. We love to take walks around the campground, everyone is friendly. The campground is patrolled by Park Rangers on a regular basis. There nature programs for the kids and families. On Saturday night they show a family movie. Always love going here.
