Overnight stay. Called same day no problem. New owner and is now a KOA. Nice and helpful. Including the 2 baby goat escort to our spot. Would stay again. Small general store. Quiet park.

Nice place
By user-5679616... on 2017-10-23.
This place is far enough off the freeway so it is very quit the staff is very friendly. They have a nice little convenience store with everything you will need. Has showers and WiFi works. No cable or antenna reception

Now a KOA
By user-6448689... on 2017-10-23.
One of my favorite KOA's! Clean and quiet, lots of shade trees, two dog parks, and a real swimming hole in a real Creek. The convenience store is fully stocked with everything that you forgot to bring.

Clean & quiet
By user-5805490... on 2017-10-23.
As the other review mentioned this is a new KOA campground. Clean & far enough off I-5 so little to no noise. Had probably 3 dozen wild turkeys wander through near sunset. Had the nicest showers I've seen yet & Free!! A bit dusty, but they hadn't had rain in 2 months. Would stay there again.

Beautiful!
By user-5907467... on 2018-05-17.
If you need to stay in this area stay here! Huge spaces, clean, staff is very welcoming and goes out of their way for you. Ask for a space near the waterfalls and swimming hole! Just absolutely gorgeous! And drive slow they have 2 resident goats, one wears a bonnet!

Split decision

I read all the prior reviews and had high expectations. The area is beautiful and the falls/swimming hole is awesome. I also found the owner and manager to be terrific and friendly people.
However, the rest of our experience was pretty bad. They have issues with the reservation system and our site was double booked. The manager worked hard with us to find another site, which eventually worked out fine. The website says there is no cable... but there is also no OTA TV and only a few of the sites can get satellite. Also, the cell phone coverage is spotty. I could overlook most of this, but then the water pressure was very low (~20 psi)... then is quit altogether... then it came back on... but was red in color from sediment... yuck! Then we had a power outage. This park is in serious need of an infrastructure upgrade!
If you want a nice place to camp, but don't care about technology and carry your own water... this is a great place!

Called about 10 minutes ahead to check for site availability. No cable. Wi-Fi was good. Lovely owner. Beautiful sunset. Nice washrooms, good general store, our site was very level. Natural waterfall with swimming hole. Lots of rustic cute touches to this park that the owner clearly takes lots of pride in. Would stay again.

Super cute park, hosts were very nice, spots are level and can accommodate our 35 ft with 4 slides MH and car. Some spots are above Jumpoff Joe Creek and there are small waterfalls and swimming holes. Highly recommend and will be coming back since it s only a few hours from our house.

The staff was great and the grounds are beautiful! On a hot day there are natural swimming pools fed by a waterfall! So refreshing and unexpected.

Very Rustic

I guess I was expecting more with all the wonderful reviews. The staff was very friendly and waterfalls were pretty. I have a 40 Fifth wheel and we had a pull thru that was a little tight. Laundry facilities were out of order, no cable. We were able to get the satellite to work though. It was ok for a one night stay.
