Stayed here in January 2017. It is located off base under oak trees and a lake. Full hookups at all sites in dirt or grassy areas. 12 minute drive to Wild Adventures water park in Valdosta. We will be back in October 2017 for a week.
Probably one of the quietest campgrounds we have stayed at. Traffic all day with trucks going to sewage plant at end of road directly thru middle of campground. Should have a speed limit about 25 on that county road but most vehicle run at least 45mph. Dangerous for kids or pedestrians to cross the street . no way am I swimming or wading in the lake full of lilly pads and nasty stuff not to mention gators may be in there. There is lots of oak trees with tons of moss and ants so we parked across the road in a mostly sunny spot. Sue is the camphost who is very nice to talk to and trying yo make changes to support the campers. Lots of shelter can be rented and boat rentals. This has several long term campers and workers living here. I will stay here again for a few dsys.
