This park is nicely taken care of and is in a nice setting. Great value for $30/nt Good Sams rate. Long pull through sites and utilities properly located for a motorhome. TV reception is not great and no cable, but otherwise, we were very pleased with the park. Found a small Mexican restaurant 4.5 miles north on 13 which had great food and inexpensive. Warning: after you exit from I70, the GPS says turn left, GO RIGHT, left is a dead end with small turn around area.
Very clean and the owners are very nice. There is a fenced in dog park, nice laundry and a newcsalt water pool. The rates are pretty good too. Did I mention wifi?
Very nice folks. They let us choose our space. The sites are easy in and easy out, but some need a little leveling work. The owner ran and got us some boards to help us level. Turned out we didn't need them, but sure appreciated the effort. The pool is nice. We spent quite awhile in there. We did not use the restroom/showers so can't comment on those. Reasonable rates. WiFi worked well. We would definitely stay again.
Great pull throughs. shower houses old but very clean. Great WiFi. Just stayed one night 8 am to 8 pm for sure stay at it again! :)
Sites all pull thru w/20 &50 amp; bath house a bit older, but good shape. No sign out by road, so ask for good directions... it's just a couple hundred feet down old 40.
Good stop for the night. Lots of pull through sites, level. Nice dog run, clubhouse and pool, although we were just there for a good nights sleep. There are also fishing ponds you can use without a license. Easy on and off freeway.
We stayed 1 night while traveling. Easy in and out from the interstate. Be careful with GPS. It will erroneously tell you to turn left (east) on Old Hwy 40. The park is west, therefore, you will turn right. Nice, clean place with level, pull-thru, FHU site. WiFi worked well. Nice, pleasant person at check in. We would stay here again. We camped in a motorhome.
Very reasonable pull through sites friendly staff
Wrong GPS directions to a dead end. Turn R on Old 40 (west toward KC). There is NO sign at wrong gps turn directing you to campground. You CANNOT see it from road if traveling west. Very poorly marked signage , not visible from road. Office staff nice , long pull through, easy to hook up utilities. Good wifi and OTA channels. Did not use showers. Nice overnight stop.
Nice park people were very nice. Nice overnight place.
Tried to make a reservation, left a message to call us back. Called them again a couple more times - no answer and they never called back.
The owners are so nice! The pool is very well kept and clean. Large level spots. Inexpensive laundry with clean bathrooms and showers. Rates are very reasonable for being so near the Kansas City metro. They have fishing ponds that are stocked. Many acres of ground. A huge dog park. They also have reservable meeting rooms and a kitchen/bar with a respectable reception/dance floor area. Propane is available along with limited RV supplies. The owner told me that they have reported the GPS being incorrect many times with no changes. So yes, the GPS is wrong. They are located at exit 49 off I-70 on the southwest side of the interchange. We will definitely stay again!
Easy off I70 for over night. GPS with Google maps took us straight to the park. Not sure what device the other reviewers were using but we found it just fine. It was not crowded so we got to pick our site. Sites are fairly spaces apart. Clean bathrooms and laundry. Even though we didn't use the pool it was clean and looked inviting. Park could use more shade trees.
Stayed April 18 and 19th. Needed a RV Tech to help with furnace. Host and owner helped us get just the right man. Used full service pull thru. Good over the air t.v. Got a 4 due to the highway noise. Quite loud.
