Quiet beautiful camping in natural surroundings. Several deer grazing nearby and other wildlife sightings. Great roads throughout for walka or bike rides. Staff was very nice!
Enjoy a walk around 2 spring fed lakes, no bikes are allowed on this trail. 18 hole golf course or 18 hole disc golf. Both are well taken care of. Bike access to the Erie Canal trail where you can bike for miles. Camping is separate from the public area that can get crowed in a hot summer day as it is close to Syracuse.
I grew up camping at this park. It was great being able to camp here as an adult. The glacial lakes are a gorgeous aquamarine color. Great for hiking. It is a pity they do not stay open longer. Camping is closed after Oct 14th.
