Great campground with mikes of hiking trails right from the campground, a small pond for fishing and many activities for the kids. Staff was also very friendly and accommodating. Not a mile from the campground is the Lenoir greenway and a mountain bike park plus a soccer complex. The campground is going through renovations, updating their lodge, store and installing WiFi throughout the park. We stayed at site 98. Would give 5 stars but the sites were somewhat small and difficult to maneuver into.
The website shows pretty grass and lots of activity. Don’t be fooled. Bathroom, laundry and common area closed. You have to pay for WiFi. Looks like a run down dump. Don’t waste your time or money!
One of the nicest TT parks we have visited. Very woodsy and not too close to your neighbors in most sites. Pros: quiet, green, maintained, upgrading upper campsites, many concrete pads, new pool, new activities center. Cons: poor cell service on Verizon, pay for high speed wifi, upper campsites are on gravel roads. They have many hiking trails, but we did not ise them due to possible muddy conditions.
