Pros: $20 rate. Reliable wifi. Clean, air-conditioned laundry/bathroom/shower building. Greensburg itself, which is home to the World's Largest Hand-dug Well (it really is worth seeing), which now also includes a moving display recounting the devastating 2007 tornado and the city's recovery as one of the "greenest" cities in the country. If you travel a little further west on Hwy 54, take time to visit the Fromme-Birney Round Barn, 5 miles south of Mullinville. You'll be glad you did. It's an architectural gem. Cons: Non-resident manager (no one on-site to address deficiencies). No power outlets, toilet paper or hand towels in the bathrooms. The park is sandwiched between Hwy 54 (lots of truck traffic) and the railroad (numerous trains throughout the night). The lots sit on an east-west orientation, so your awning won't provide any afternoon or evening shade. Must pay by cash or check.
