My family occupied 4 spots at this campground on 3/20 weekend. Extremely clean sites with good water pressure. The bathhouse is like no other, the pictures online do it no justice in terms of decor and cleanliness. Sites are spaced apart and paved. Owners frequently make rounds ensuring you have everything needed. Awesome view of pilot mountain from all sites.
Concrete sites, large gravel roads. Immaculate and new bathhouse. Only cg that we've been to in the rain with NO mud. It's a super nice place for couples, not much for kids except a fishing pond. Owner is very open and honest and tries to establish a relationship with everyone. Only 10 sites currently, all pull through with full hookups, trashcans, firepit. Great view of Pilot Mountain, we just couldn't see it due to rain and fog...... Good power supply, a little weak on water pressure, nothing to cry about though. Great spacing between sites. Thanks for the hospitality! $43 during off season. I thank him for demonstrating his Christian faith too.
This was a great place. In its beging stages. The owner is friendly and accommodating. Bath house is super clean as well as the pull threw cemented pads. Full hook-ups was also a great feature. The scenery was breathtaking as we relaxed at the picnic table over burgers made on our campfire. We will definitely be back.
Will get 5 from me when he gets permits for laundry so I can wash clothes. Excellent views. Accommodating host couple. Christian music at non intrusive level at superb bath house. Cell service almost non existant, but there for my carrier. ..AT&T. It is a nice quiety place. I would definitely go there again. Paved spots and gravel, so no mud. Weak but usable wifi.
Our first time in rv. Fantastic experience. Picturesque view of pilot mountain. 1 mile from pilot mountain state Park. Great for lovers of the outdoors. Well definately come back !!!
This is one park that will go down in our record book as the place to stay when In the Mount Airy, Winston-Salem area of North Carolina. They boast 10 concrete pads that provide the most level camping experience. You pull in, unhook your trailer and set your leveling jacks and you re good to go! The owners are most helpful and willing to accommodate you as best they can. I suggest that you make reservations early as there are only 10 spots in this park. If you are one of the lucky ones to get a spot, you will certainly not be disappointed! The bathrooms are spotless and the laundry facility is new! Enjoy!
Super nice place from what I ve been told but be aware they do not allow pop up campers to stay here because the bath house closes at night.
