Beautiful scenery, very popular hiking area. RV spots are double wide parking spaces in an asphalt parking lot. In close in parking like this, it's amazing how many people think it's ok to run your gen for long periods at a time. I paid for 3 days, but this is going to be a one nighter for me.
We stayed one night at the RV lot. The RV section is essetnially a parking lot with stripes for the sites. Dry camping and mostly level. This was perfect for us as we arrived, went on a 4 mile hike where the trailhead started at the RV area, returned in time to have dinner and a beer before sunset, then departed the next morning. Only about 30 spots so it is quiet and dark. Beautiful sky. We would definitely stay again.
The place is nice although it is a parking lot. We had a quiet night but there were crazy gusts of wind that were shaking our RV. High winds are common in this area so be prepared for it, one of the trailers next to our RV got blown off the truck pulling it.
