| Nice Park & Good Sites

By user-5892247... on 2017-10-23.

Nice sized back in sites for RVs with 30/50A power & water on one loop. Lots of hiking/biking trails. Very pretty along the river - nice place to play in warm weather. Definitely would stay here again. 40 ft RV + tow.

| Wonderful River

Great state park, lots of wildlife. Axis deer with amazing antlers. All back in sites. Level with strong power and good water. Lots of room between sites. Beautiful river fun to kayak or tube. Stayed in a 38 foot fifth wheel.

| Turkey Sink Loop

By user-5258346... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2018-12-28 to 2018-12-29

We stayed in a W/E site on Turkey sink. This loop will be closed in early 2019 for renovations, but these sites are pretty big for the bigger campers. In 2019, the other W/E Loop will be re-opened after repairs, but they are 20 foot and shorter only sites. This is a really nice state park close to a major city. The only bad part is, you get rif-raff from the big city. The good part is the park is gated and they seem to check every vehicle that enters. Everything was clean and tidy including the bath/shower areas if needed. My critique is the fire rings. They don't have a solid base and are MUD when it rains. Hard to build a campfire on the soggy ground. We will certainly be back, sooner than later in the recently renovated section.
