Best in Texas Gulf Coast Area!
By user-5837680... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2015-12-27 to 2016-01-29
Wonderful RV beach resort-style park. Clean, spacious owned/deeded lots, many for rent by full timers. Size/rig condition restrictions strictly enforced (no tents, pop-ups, no older than 10 yrs, and must be at least 26 ft). Great front office staff, immaculate landscaping and upkeep. We rented spot 729 for a weekend and now back to stay a month. Long, level paved sites, all FHU (20/30/50 A), pedestals mid-coach or towards the rear, plus 30+ channels CATV w/ clear reception. Excellent wi-fi with repeaters every 2-3 sites. Pristine heated pool, small game room/meeting area and laundry. Beach buggies available for rent. Nice Boardwalk to beach at rear of park, wide enough for carts. My assessment: we've stayed up the road...hands down Gulf Waters is the BEST RV park on Mustang Island or anywhere in Corpus Christi or Port Aransas, Texas

This place is PRIMO!!! Yes, gonna pay a little more, but GREAT facilities, easy access to the beach, and nice, clean and quiet.
By far,the nicest place we have stayed!
If you stay here, go to a little hole-in-the wall restaurant called Shells, in town. Menu to DIE for!!!

Paradise
By user-5825315... on 2017-10-23.
Hands down the most beautiful rv resort on the island. Beautiful landscaping, excellent and friendly staff.
My only complaint is they charge $10.00 per person for visitors.
We will definitely return.

No large families allowrc
By anonymous-user on 2017-10-23.
So I would love to give this place a 5. It's beautiful and very well kept. My family likes staying here. But they only allow 6 people per RV. I normally have my four kids 8,9,10,12 and my wife and I. However in between my booking and my stay my wife's son came to live with us. I didn't even think a 7th would be an issue. They only list the max number under rules so it's not like you see it off the bat. My bad for not checking. I think it's really bad that they don't allow for bigger families. What's worse is how it was handled. I had a late arrival and when I was greeted I told them I had a seventh and was told "you better tell them not to come" I explained well they are here. The person said we'll check with management tomorrow. So the next day I went to the office and they not only said "I was lying about what was said to me cause I was mad" but that in the future I am out of luck if I bring seven. They said that the board made the rules. I asked for a contact for the board and when they meet and wasn't given it. They said other places in Port A do the same.. I couldn't find any that were 6. I offered to rent another pad but they said I have to have an RV on it. Money isn't the issue. They said that sewer and electricity were an issue. I even said I would not dump if that would help. Basically they don't want my business and don't want to change the rules or make an exception. My other son is autistic which makes it even worse. Because these sites are owned the management is like an HOA, so they really don't care if you stay or not. paid no matter what happens. So if you have more that 4 kids stay somewhere else. Very sad cause i really liked this place.

Nicest RV park we have ever stayed at! The sites are beautiful and each is unique. Very close to the beach which was awesome. Everyone was exceptionally friendly. Wonderful pool and hot tub. Will definitely be back and hopefully for weeks!

A top notch resort right on the beach
By user-5833434... on 2018-03-14.
You will not find another place quite like this. The beach is just yards away across a wide boardwalk. You can rent a beach cart and drive out onto the beach and into town. The large sites are unique. Each one is privately owned and most have been developed by their owners as outdoor patios, some with palapas others with pergolas. Many have kitchens. Did I mention the palm trees? There are beautiful shady palms on nearly every site, and shrubs galore! A pool, clubhouse, showers, and four or five large ponds that welcome passing seabirds...
Don't pass this one up!

Very well kept. Friendly staff and residents. Loved the view of the pond out our window and the short boardwalk to a fabulous beach. Enjoyed the pool each afternoon too. We also really liked Port Aransas despite the hurricane damage.

Nicest place we have stayed ever! Loved the beautiful large campsites which are landscaped with a variety of trees and shrubs. Next time, ask for a fire ring! Hope to stay here longer next time!!

Wonderfully relaxing

It was very windy while we were there, in May, and a bit too humid, but since we were basically next to the gulf, that is to be expected. The sites were large, nicely landscaped and well maintained. Nice walk to the beach, over the boardwalk. Next time we will bring our golf cart.

Simply Awesome. Meticulously maintained and clean. Landscaping and individual camper sites are really cool. We will be going back for sandcastle days in April.

Beautiful and quiet
By user-6576177... on 2019-08-09.
One of the most beautiful places we have stayed. Scenic views on site with three ponds and matured Palm trees and plant life. We loved our stay. Only draw back for us was the mosquitoes were bad in the morning. Maybe the could keep the water moving in the ponds to deal with those. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice place
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
The RV park is fine. Sites are large. Pool is small. Laundry room is clean and machines are ok. They are fair about pets, without cumbersome restrictions about where they can walk. However, if you are coming here for beach time, be aware the beach is a filthy mess, and jelly fish are everywhere, including Portuguese Man O War.
