Reviews for Hacienda RV & Rally Resort

| Not as good as it should be

By user-4822008... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2015-06-21 to 2015-06-22

We arrived to find the hot tub inoperative and no pool. It was 106 and if this place is going to bill itself as a resort, then I think it should have a pool. Also, there wasn't a table at any of the sites that I saw. That is just a basic item as most campgrounds and should have been here too. The site, grounds, and bathhouse were immaculately clean. We would stay here again if we couldn't find another location as clean with a pool too.

Very well kept place. Showers are excellent! Great for a one night stop!

| Home base when we're in the area

By user-4596623... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2017-01-27 to 2017-02-27

I'm a Las Cruces native, but Uncle Sam has kept me from actually living there since 1974. Now that we're full-time RVers and with family still in the area, we stay as often and as long as circumstances and wanderlust permit. Hacienda RV is our go-to place to stay. The sites aren't the largest, but there are several back-in sites on the west side that are big enough to accommodate all of our rolling stock. All of the positives listed by previous reviewers are true: good laundry, extremely clean park and sites, and good showers (although we don't use them). Monthly rates are excellent (even with electric metered separately for monthly rate). Propane is inexpensive in the area, too. The park staff couldn't be any friendlier or more helpful. I might be a bit prejudiced, but Las Cruces and the surrounding area have some of the best Mexican food on the planet and there are plenty of interesting things to do and see. The only thing keeping me from adding the fifth star is the proximity to I-10 and the associated highway noise (you get used to it - and it's certainly not as noisy as some Air Force bases we've stayed on!). Of course, the location is also what makes it convenient for travelers.

| Beautiful little spot

By user-4969190... on 2017-10-23.

We stopped here for one night. Inside the office was very well kept Ald the staff was kind. Positives - excellent location Can accommodate 60+ up to 120 coaches Negatives - doggie walk was flooded ( nobody can prevent acts of God) Charged $2 extra for my child

| Hippy

By user-5234795... on 2017-10-23.

This was a perfect place. Large, flat gravel pull through spots. Asphalt streets. Huge community room with very clean bathrooms. Street side garbage pick up. Large dog path/run area. Convenient location. I wish everywhere was like this.

| Great stop

Great stop and very nice facility. Level sites and easy access. Very pricey! No pool!

As a touring band we decided to try an RV park to save some money on this coast to coast and back tour. This place is great, the staff I'd wonderfull, it's clean and quiet. The site advertised a pool but there is only a hottub. If most parks are like this, we will be spending more time in them. Uber made it great to get around, Scott is a nice driver, hope you get him.

| Nicest we have ever had

By user-5801025... on 2017-10-23.

It is exactly what we love. Easy on and off of interstate, fastest most efficient check in ever...spacious, level, gravel, FHU sites with privacy fences for each site. That is awesome! Enough space to walk your pups (they provide you with a doggie treat and poop mitt for each pet at check in) and picnic tables under a bit of shade at each site. Bathrooms could use a bench or chair in the handicapped room...but other than that they are perfect. Very friendly staff...even came around to assist you with setup if needed. This is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Only stayed 3 days...on a fairly tight schedule...but enjoyed every minute. We travel in a fifth wheel.

| Awesome

A very nice place. Staff is friendly. Showers were hot and very clean. Cable and wifi worked great. We liked that the campground was also well lighted. Walmart is close by if you need anything. We are staying 6 nights, price in our opinion is great for what you get. Definitely would stay here again. We rented a car from Enterprise rental car and they picked us up at the campground.

| Not a resort

By user-5031948... on 2017-10-23.

Nicely maintained and bathrooms clean. No swimming pool and exercise equipment from the 70s . Walk to the old town square is 1.2 miles

| Great for Overnight or Longer Term

By user-5573345... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2014-01-04 to 2014-01-05

What a wonderful park! Office closes at 5:00 on weekends but their voice message encouraged taking whatever spots were available. Large pull-thrus no need to unhook. Wide streets. Level spots. Strong wireless but slow. Verizon 4g was very fast. Huge dog walk at rear of park. Didn't notice it at first as it is 5' below the road however 3 gates and steps make it accessible, and sensors control nighttime illumination. Very close to I-10 however needed to make a slight detour as the exit was closed.

| Excellent

By user-5847074... on 2017-10-23.

This place is excellent It's beautifully maintained very clean accessible to the highway they even pick up your trash daily. A gate cards to get in and out of the gate just everything all around looks great anybody who gives this place less than four stars I don't know what they're expecting maybe they should give up RVing or camping or whatever and do something else cuz I mean it's a beautiful place

Nice, clean, quiet place. Saved this so we can stay again. Has a dog park but needs a second entry. We couldn't get in the gate it was flooded at the entrance. Internet not great from campsite but worked well in lounge area at office.

| Very Nice! One of the Best So Far.

By user-6371721... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2016-01-28 to 2016-01-29

We only stayed one night. That means we didn't go into the pool or hot tub, but I did get a hot shower when we arrived. Terrific little set up with the showers - a small dressing area next to the shower, big hooks for the clothing, water pressure and plenty of hot water, and a working hair dryer. Our small and rather prissy dog wasn't keen on walking on gravel, so she didn't care for the dog run, but we saw a number of pooches who were enjoying it with their humans. This was the first park in our cross-country trip from California to Florida to have both working cable and good, strong wi-fi. How rare! It shouldn't be, but unfortunately it is. This park has a unique set up for the pull-throughs - for every two sites, there's a nice privacy fence built in - and you and your neighbor enter the site in opposite directions, further increasing the privacy between the coaches. It's well designed, which I could appreciate. The clubhouse/office is lovely and yes, I bought some marinade there. Again, I didn't explore some of the other amenities like the rally building (or quonset hut), but with what I saw and used, I was well pleased. Not the cheapest, but a good value. Lastly, extremely easy on/off the interstate and just about a mile from one of my favorite places, La Posta de Mesilla - in old Mesilla. Would definitely stay here again, probably on our way back home.

| Pricey

By user-5297152... on 2018-03-14.

We've stayed here about 4 times. But decided it's VERY pricey for an overnight stop. Sometimes staff is polite. Sometimes they're not. Park is clean. No pool if that's important to you.

Pads were in excellent shape & surprisingly private.

| Best in Cruces

By user-5651877... on 2018-03-14.

Recommended by a friend. Easy off/on I10. Clean park with great Amenities include separate shower stalls and nice laundry. Have discount cards for various nearby restaurants. Dog friendly

| Clean but crowded and noisy

By user-5835515... on 2018-03-14.

This is a nice looking park, but the highway and train noise prevents sleep at night. Most of the sites are crowded. There are no activities, and the older woman at the desk is rude.

| Clean/Neat Park

By user-5872684... on 2018-05-17.

I was given a gravel FHU pull thru for my 42' 5th wheel. Site was level, but just had enough room for my dually to park after unhooking. The sites are semi private with opposing parking, so your door side has a privacy divider between you and your facing neighbor. Site are wide open for dish use and cable, and the wi-fi worked well from my site. The park was very easy to maneuver in. The laundry room & bathrooms are neat and clean. They have a hot tub, but no pool. I would stay here again as it is close to everything in town.

| Very nice park for Big Rigs

By user-5927736... on 2019-08-09.

This is a very nice park. The sites are immaculate and spacious, with swept gravel. The roads are all concrete, with ample room for big rigs to maneuver. The location is very convenient. They are next door to a Holiday World and very close to Walmart and many restaurants. The staff is very friendly and the park provides discounts for several restaurants in the area. Curbside garbage pickup is a nice touch. The hot tub is very nice, but would be even better if there were also a pool.

| Easy in and out.

Stopped here for a night in a 37' class A. Site was flat and clean. Laundry and showers were spacious and clean. Walmart is close by, about 0.8 miles walk one way.

Stopped one night - convenient location and very large lots. Good rate too.

| NOT WORTH IT

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-03-24 to 2019-03-26

very tight spots. No pool as advertised, but do have a hot tub. No picnic table, fire pits or grills. For the price I would not stay here again. Good cable and good WiFi but really close quarters. Our slide is no ore that 2 feet from the side next door.

| Lots of red dirt, dust and wind.

By user-4778863... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-04-08 to 2019-04-10

Nice park well located. Booked for 3 nites, stayed for 2 because of the dust. Would have given 4 stars but for the dust and wind. Moved to Walmart next door for our last night.

| Nice stop

Not a bad place for overnight. Nice dog walking area. Windy area, but that goes with the territory

| Snowbirding Trip

By user-5094294... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-05-10 to 2019-05-12

Very nice RV park. Spacious sites, clean facilities, close to town. As with most RV Parks the WiFi was almost unuseable due to super slow speeds. Check in system needs to be improved. If you check in after the office closes there is no info on what sires are available nor any passwords or passcodes provided for the washrooms, pool, WiFi etc. As we did not realize there was a time shift in New Mexico from Arizona we arrived 15 minutes after the office was closed and had to ask other RVers for the codes and passwords. Returned here for an overnighter after a 3 day visit down to El Paso, Texas. Would stay here again if in the area

| Really nice

This park is clean, organized, and pleasant. Great wi-fi, restrooms and facilities. We loved the enclosed dog areas.
