Best staff and great for family
I did many KOA and this one is low quality. We were near the river totally at the back and we had to do a big clean up to remove duck poop. Playground is nice but opposite of swimming pool. I saw better KOA but ok. 32 min from Halifax... nice visit to Halifax... big parking for small rv 24 ยด at the warf.
This is a terrible KOA. The staff are very friendly (only thing good about it). The sites are tiny and poorly laid out. The roads are narrow and not maintained. They are constantly doing, but never actually finishing, renovations. Our site had broken water pipes and other garbage behind it. The area where they have the dumpster looks like an illegal dump site with stuff from previous renovations and assorted junk lying around. It's been there for years.
Really like the campground. Very nice new lots in back. Sections A & B. Dog friendly. Very nice owners. One night deposit required when booking.
Friendly staff but the site is small and very busy...found this to be a very noisy site. Some pitches hard to back in to and not much room. Would stay again but only if no where else available.
